Power Quality Sales Division Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Power Quality Sales Division Manager to join our growing team. You will also be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business with an emphasis on driving sales growth in the power quality sector, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise on power quality solutions and ensuring we deliver on our promises. Your primary goal will be to lead the company to profitable and sustainable growth while ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting our brand as a leader in power quality products.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Generation:
    • Identify and target potential customers in the power quality sector, including industrial, commercial, and utility markets.
    • Collaborate with customers to understand their specific power quality needs and propose tailored solutions.
    • Present and demonstrate power quality products and solutions to customers, effectively communicating their benefits and value proposition.
    • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    • Develop a deep understanding of power quality products including surge protection devices (SPDs), power factor correction units, voltage regulators, power conditioners, harmonic filters (both passive and active), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) systems, and battery energy storage (BES) systems.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations related to power quality, and effectively communicate their implications to customers.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in customer organizations.
    • Conduct regular customer visits, engaging in consultative selling, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
    • Continuously monitor customer satisfaction, proactively addressing any concerns or issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
  4. General Management:
    • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the business, including sales targets, financial targets, and operational targets.
    • Take ownership of improving and maintaining all division processes.
    • Lead and coach a great team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Monitor financial performance, analyze financial reports, and make necessary adjustments to achieve financial targets.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the power quality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of power quality products, their applications, and relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, understand their needs, and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Proven experience in general management, including sales, operations, finance, and human resources.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful business strategies.
