We are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to provide partnership and management support to the Regional Branch Manager. This role is involved in crossing many areas of EMC including administration, sales, and operations and has the opportunity to provide significant and meaningful impact within the region to help build success with the branch team.

This position will evolve into an Account Manager (Sales) Role for the right candidate. We are looking for a candidate who will take the time to gain knowledge on our products and then leverage their knowledge to help increase the value we provide our customers. Additionally, the goal of the Account Manager is to increase revenue and grow our customer base.

Starting Salary Range: $20.00 to 24.00 hourly We expect the wages will increase upon becoming an account manager.

The Operations Support Associate for the regional branch is responsible for providing hands on operational and strategic support to the Regional Branch Manager and direct team.

There are three major obsessions of the Operations Support Associate role:

  1. Partnership in execution of branch objectives
  2. Process/project management and operational support
  3. Ensure branch customers are highly satisfied

Above all, execution partnership is the most significant responsibility within the Operations Support Associate position; s/he will be relied upon by the region Branch Manager to provide advising/counseling and highlight gaps, risks and opportunities.  

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who:

  • Can be an effective partner to the Regional Branch Manager and willing take on any tasks and assignments that are needed to assist in branch success; see’s the needs before they become issues and works to help solve them
  • Brings structure to chaos by exercising good judgement, common sense, and reasoning; able to go back and forth between the conceptual (goals/strategy) and practical (application/execution)
  • Can effectively understand ambiguity, risk, and uncertainty; shifts gears comfortably (e.g., resetting priorities on the fly) and can make decisions and act without having all lights on green
  • Excels at relationship building; acts as a uniting force among the team and across pillars/departments to create cohesion and alignment under a common goal, as well as to drive decision-making and influence outcomes
  • Has the drive and ability to make an impact, both broadly and individually, to shape change and ultimately improve operations of the branch; takes the bull by the horns and can turn the Regional Branch Manager’s vision into reality

Position Requirements:

  • Preferred previous experience in a business/strategy role or business degree
  • You must be highly detail-oriented
  • Must be comfortable wearing many hats, picking up the slack, and helping wherever is needed
  • You must be resourceful and creative, capable of solving difficult, critical problems by leveraging the existing resources of the organization
  • Previous experience in an industrial service or operations-type environment preferred
  • High degree of common sense and knowledge of operational excellence; knows what it takes to “make the trains run on time”
  • Effectively assist in managing within budget, including assisting in optimizing branch cost management

  • Quality. You take pride in everything you deliver as a reflection of yourself
  • Pragmatic decision maker able to weigh the risks/benefits and know what s/he knows and does not know in the process
  • Able to drive pickup and pull trailer
  • Able to be forklift certified
  • Prior experience with inventory management
