Salary: $50,000 to $65,000 Annually DOE

Your Role and Impact: As an Inside Sales Specialist for Power Quality Components (PQC), a subsidiary of EMC, you will be a pivotal part of driving our market reach in Power Quality, assisting out sales teams in supplying and our customers in acquiring, Power Quality products and solutions that meet the needs of our served industries, vertical markets, and various classes of customers serving those markets.  This role is ideal for someone passionate about technical sales and customer service. The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for assisting with and growing sales for PQC, providing our sales teams and customers with sales support and customer service that ensures timely responses to inquiries, provides commercial and technical information as requested, and manages order handling from purchase order through shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our sales team and their new and existing customers through both proactive and reactive communication, responding to requests for quotations, order entry and order support, and post-sales support.
  • Conduct sales transactions primarily via phone and email, managing all phases from initial inquiry to post-sales follow-up.
  • Educate customers on the basic technical aspects and benefits of our products and solutions, including reactors, capacitors, harmonic filters, and output filters.
  • Prepare and deliver quotes, process orders, and ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product management teams to accurately address customer inquiries and provide the best options for solutions that meet application needs through value differentiation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer communications in the company CRM.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the power quality sector to identify potential opportunities for growth.
  • Support achievement of meeting and exceeding sales targets and performance metrics as defined by company goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to deepen knowledge of industry-specific challenges and the company’s product offerings.
  • Support logistical operations of the business including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and other warehousing duties as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, in a technical or industrial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components and their applications in improving power quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain basic technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building lasting professional relationships.

Applicants must be able to fulfill the physical duties of the job, which include being able to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Individuals must be able to reach with hands and arms. Candidates must also be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
