An Energy Management Corp (EMC) Account Manager leverages their technical competencies to identify, qualify, and delivery industrial solutions to End Users and Contractors while simultaneously providing value to Design Engineers throughout the specification process.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in your assigned territory. Ultimately, to be successful you will become a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers.
An EMC Account Manager is given a large amount of autonomy to achieve success and is expected to follow all company policies, procedures, and sales programs set in place, including timely CRM documentation and pipeline development/management.

Basic expectations are as follows-
· Work closely with generator service, field engineering and the motor shop managers to schedule calls with customers with appropriate technicians.
· Work with inside sales to follow up quotes and completing outstanding jobs as parts are obtained.
· Work with managers to insure completion of SO's through the PMR and billing process. This includes working with vendors on any additional requirements for warranty or start up.
· Coordinate with technicians and managers on after hour calls and schedules. Ultimately dispatch is controlling and directing after hours emergency calls.
· Coordinate with accounting on customers "On Credit Hold" to avoid incurring additional charges until accounts brought current.

The Operations Assistant for the regional branch is responsible for providing hands on operational and strategic support to the Regional Branch Manager and direct team.

The Vibration Analyst will partner with personnel from our customer base to maintain and/or improve the reliability of rotating equipment and meet desired facility performance goals. The position requires analyzing and reporting the health of rotating process equipment to proactively identify component, equipment and system issues and recommend corrective actions. Utilization of predictive maintenance programs to include vibration analysis, thermography, PdMA analysis and equipment condition monitoring technologies are critical to the success of this role.
This position works closely with Operations Management, Site Maintenance Personnel, Reliability Specialists and Engineers to identify and resolve rotating equipment related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vibration data collection, vibration data analysis, and timely reporting of machine condition findings.
- Perform routine and emergent data collection needs, to a diverse customer base.
- Evaluate machinery health, and condition of all types of rotating equipment, through detailed analysis of vibration data.
- Conduct failure analysis of rotating equipment to determine root causes of failure and help determine solutions to prevent reoccurrences.
- Perform troubleshooting of equipment and instrumentation related to data collection systems.
- Perform select field services such as changing sheaves and belts.
- Interface with existing key company stakeholders, to grow business including Automation Specialist, Hydraulic Specialist, Pneumatic Specialist, Field Service Technicians.
This position requires a combination of office work and field work. This position typically requires travel domestically. Accessibility during off-hours is required. The applicant must be physically able to work on and around elevated fixed and rotating equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance of rotating equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Category II certification in vibration analysis
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies.
- Must possess excellent verbal communication, team interaction and presentation skills.
- Strong computer and standard software experience (MS Office, E-Mail, CMMS, etc.)
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use, application and maintenance of vibration data acquisition software and the diagnostic equipment used to track the health of the site's critical rotating machinery
- Proven ability to interpret and analyze vibration and data
- Knowledge of general rotating equipment fundamentals such as assembly fits and tolerances
Desired Qualifications:
- 5 years minimum experience in maintenance or facility operations in an industrial, manufacturing environment

Essential Duties: Repairs special and standard AC and DC electro-mechanical equipment.
Summary: Is sufficient in repairing numerous AC and DC electro-mechanical equipment and is able to work with a variety of testing tools.
Responsibilities: The following list contains key responsibilities; additional work may be assigned by your manager.
- Follows relevant work instructions and customer standards.
- Operates specialized repair and testing equipment.
- Carries out dynamic balance of rotor and armature assemblies as well as replaces/repairs mechanical parts (e.g. brushes, gears, seals, etc.).
- Regularly diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Proficient in level 1+ vibration analysis.
- Procures special parts per material request form.
- Oversees that all completed work in their designated area meets EMC quality requirements.
- Operates Overhead cranes and Medium voltage test panel.
- Accurately records time on jobs and documents and applies critical information.
- Completes paperwork accurately and on a timely basis.
- Operate Fork Trucks (certified); Quality System/Safety Policy trained.
- Observes all safety procedures and uses proper protective gear.
- Lifts, tightens, adjusts and/or secures heavy objects in order to perform work duties.
- Keeps work area neat and clean.
- Provides assistance and on-the-job training for Technician Assistants and all Mechanics.
- Continually looks for ways to streamline and improve processes.

Industrial Electrician
Energy Management Corporation has an opening for an Industrial Electrician. We are looking for an innovative, extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, honest, and hardworking individual to join the team.
Duties and skills expected of the Industrial Electrician include but are not limited to:
- Basic knowledge motors controls and VFDs.
- Master licensee desired, journeyman licensee ok
- Knowledge of NEC rules and requirements
- Plan and coordinate activities concerned with installing equipment, investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems
- Applicants will have strong electrical or electronic background, able to read schematics, mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and computer literate.
- Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Answer technical questions and provide high level of support for the sales department.
- Provide quotations for customers on the repair job.
- Interact with customers over phone to provide answers to technical questions.
- Keep workspace clean and organized.
- Installs new or modified equipment at customer’s facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
- Coordinates problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
- Comfortable working on 120, 240 and 480 volt power systems, medium voltage experience a plus.
- PLC knowledge is a plus.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
- Electric motor theory, vibration analysis, laser alignment is a plus
- Pulling and reinstalling motors, pumps, fans a plus.
Must have own basic hand tools. Must be willing to travel locally with occasional overnight trips. Must be able to speak, write, and communicate clearly in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Applicants must be able to fulfill the physical duties of the job, which include being able to stand or walk for long periods of time, occasionally sit, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel. Applicants must be able to reach with hands and arms. Applicants must also be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Climbing ladders, kneeling, bending and working in tight locations, working outdoors at time in the elements are all requirements for this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Clean driving record required. Must be able to pass a DOT physical.

Accounts Receivable Specialist
Energy Management Corporation (EMC) is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our Salt Lake City office. We are a 40-year-old and growing industrial automation company that sells and services electric motors, drives, and generators.
We are looking for an innovative, extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, honest and hardworking individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an accounting department, and will be responsible for helping ensure smooth and efficient day to day operations of the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Record and manage Accounts Receivable transactions
- Process customer billing
- Provide phone and email support to resolve daily customer AR inquiries
- Complete report generation for bi-monthly monitoring of aging accounts
- Cash application, including distribution and reconciliation
- Research and resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate customer information in ERP system
- Analyze credit application for credit worthiness
- Run credit reports and call credit references
- Collections on past due accounts
Minimum Qualifications
- Two years of experience in AR
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy; Organized and efficient
- Ability to work independently & anticipate work needs with minimal direction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Strong knowledge of Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while working with various deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 + years of experience with Customer Service
- 3 + years of experience in Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Previous experience with an ERP system
- Associates Degree

Primary Responsibilities:
- P&L responsibility for the Electrical Control Panel Manufacturing Business Unit.
- Responsible for driving year over year profit and revenue growth
- Responsible for the Value Stream Management of the Electrical Control Panel Business
- Direct leadership of the manufacturing and design teams
- Indirect cross-functional coordination with Branch Managers, Sales, Engineering, Inventory & Purchasing, and the Executive Management Team.

- Responsible for leading the on-going account growth opportunities with existing customers and markets

Accountabilities:
- Hire, train, coach, develop and lead a team of administrative, quoting/sales support, technical design, project management and manufacturing staff to meet and exceed the business plan, profitability and revenue goals for the business unit.
- Develop and execute plans for continued growth of business unit, including expanding business with current customers and onboarding new customers in alignment with company strategic plans and growth initiatives
- Lead the business unit's quoting and project management processes in coordination with the Inside Sales
- Lead a cross-functional team from Manufacturing, Test, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Sales to drive customer satisfaction as measured by customer retention and growth
- Manage on-going pricing levels to balance profitability and growth
- Manage customer satisfaction including quality and on-time delivery
- Manage safety to meet company standards and assure a safe manufacturing environment
- Guide Lean continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
- Create and maintain the business unit’s strategic business plan
- Develop a go to market strategy targeting year over year growth
- Monitor competitors by gathering marketplace information on pricing levels, delivery schedules, service levels and service offerings
- Provide feedback to the Executive Team on current market and industry trends
- Develop a deep understanding of opportunities and markets served
- Additional responsibilities as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years in an Electrical Manufacturing / Business Development role or related experience
- An Engineering/Technical degree or strong technical work experience. PE is a plus
- Experience working for a supplier or distributor of Electrical OEM parts is a plus
- Experience leading and developing a sales team
- Track record of successfully meeting and exceeding business goals
- Prior experience managing a P&L is a plus
- Experience implementing Lean Process Improvements is a plus
- Strong knowledge of the Electrical Control and Automation industry
- Experience working with UL 508A and other related UL Standards is a plus
- Required Skills
