Position Overview: Knower is seeking highly motivated and self-directed Recruiter to join our team. This critical role will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent in the electric motor repair and related industries. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the recruitment process, from sourcing leads to onboarding, and ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This role demands a proactive, resourceful individual with expertise in recruiting for specialized technical roles, a deep understanding of our industry, and a metrics-driven approach to ensure consistent, measurable success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Sourcing & Lead Generation:
    • Develop and execute creative strategies to source candidates with experience in electric motor repair, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, field service, and related industries.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of skilled professionals through industry networking, online platforms, job boards, trade shows, and referrals.
  2. Full-Cycle Recruitment:
    • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and facilitating job offers.
    • Ensure the candidate experience is smooth, professional, and reflective of Knower’s values.  
  3. Candidate Vetting & Interviews:
    • Perform detailed vetting to assess candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.

  4. Collaboration with Hiring Teams:
    • Work closely with hiring managers and HR teams of our members to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and hiring goals.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor, providing insights and recommendations on hiring trends, market conditions, and competitive salaries.
  5. Recruiting Tools & Technology:
    • Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and recruiting platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter to manage candidate pipelines and streamline hiring processes.
    • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize performance and refine strategies.
  6. Metrics-Driven Performance:
    • Establish and achieve recruitment performance goals aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Track key metrics such as:
      • Time-to-Fill: Average number of days to fill open positions.
      • Cost-per-Hire: Total recruitment costs divided by the number of hires.
        • Candidate Conversion Rate: Percentage of candidates who advance through each stage of the process.
        • Offer Acceptance Rate: Percentage of candidates who accept job offers.
        • Candidate Satisfaction Score: Feedback from candidates regarding their recruitment experience.
    • Use data insights to continuously improve the recruitment process and meet hiring goals.  
  7. Industry Expertise & Market Insights:
    • Stay updated on trends and developments in the electric motor repair and related industries.
    • Develop deep knowledge of the talent landscape to target high-demand skills and anticipate hiring challenges.  
  8. Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records, provide regular updates to leadership, and contribute to workforce planning initiatives.
  9. Employer Branding:
    • Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams of our members to create compelling recruitment content that showcases our culture and values.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in electric motor repair, industrial services, or related industries.
  • Expertise in sourcing technical talent, such as mechanics, winders, field service technicians, and other skilled professionals.
  • Proficiency with recruiting tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ATS systems).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build trust with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Metrics-oriented mindset with proven ability to meet and exceed recruitment performance goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with electric motor repair terminology, technical requirements, and industry certifications.
  • Experience recruiting for roles involving predictive maintenance, millwright work, or industrial field services.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address talent acquisition challenges in niche markets.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and act on recruitment metrics effectively.
