Join a Team That Values Experience and Action

Energy Management Corporation (EMC) is seeking a mid-level Industrial Projects Coordinator with a strong sense of ownership and a proven ability to manage fast-paced operational workflows. If you have experience supporting field teams, managing job progress, and implementing operational efficiencies in industrial or service environments, this is your opportunity to take your career to the next level.

We work with electric motors, drives, and generators—providing equipment sales, service, and installations that power critical systems. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for resourceful professionals who are ready to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will partner closely with our Field Services team to manage and coordinate industrial service projects from initiation through completion. Your focus will be on ensuring that all components—people, materials, timelines, and communication—are aligned for project success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and audit technician schedules to ensure efficient daily execution across multiple job sites.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure that projects are aligned with operational goals and customer needs.
  • Coordinate logistics, materials, and support for field crews—proactively resolving issues related to scheduling, equipment, or job readiness.
  • Track and report on project performance, safety metrics, and resource utilization; make tactical adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication across all stakeholders: field teams, customers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Update project documentation including schedules (e.g., Gantt charts), timelines, closeout paperwork, and service records.
  • Support emergency or after-hours job coordination, dispatch, and communication.
  • Oversee in-shop job timelines and assist with warehouse coordination as necessary.

Qualifications

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring hands-on knowledge of field operations and a proactive approach to project coordination.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial services, construction coordination, or job-site management.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and customers.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards, resource allocation, and operational best practices.
  • Experience with scheduling tools and job-tracking systems (Gantt chart experience a plus).

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to be on your feet throughout the day and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Primarily office-based with occasional site visits or warehouse coordination.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call or emergency dispatch coordination when needed.
