Energy Management is seeking an Electrical Customer Service Representative to fill a role at our Salt Lake City office.  This is not a call center. 

Salary Range – $22 – $24 per hour

Full – Time – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (hour lunch)

As a Customer Service Representative, you will work in an adaptive fast-paced environment with three main job functions:

  • Supporting the outside salesforce and field service technicians in quoting and fulfilling orders, along with maintaining CRM data.
  • Responding to inbound customer inquiries that come through phone, email, and e-commerce sites.
  • Assisting our salesforce in developing and implementing a customer plan with a focus on assigned accounts and new business.

Because of the diverse day-to-day activities of this role, EMC is seeking someone who already has experience with electrical equipment (motors, VFDs, generators, etc.) or similar products. This job is not a call center type of environment. This position will include a base pay, no commissions.

Skills/Abilities Required

  • Prior experience with industrial electrical and automation strongly preferred. Proficiency in typing, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), and general computer functions/equipment. Previous experience with CRM software preferred (Sharp Spring, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)

Applicants must be able to fulfill the physical duties of the job, which include being able to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Individuals must be able to reach with hands and arms. Candidates must also be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
