We provide high-quality electric motors, drives, and generator systems to customers across multiple industries. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and proactive accounting expert to support the financial backbone of our operations.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in our accounting operations and financial reporting. Your work will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive monthly financial close processes and prepare accurate, timely financial statements
- Partner with the CFO and department leads to analyze financial performance and provide insights
- Prepare and file federal and state payroll and sales tax returns
- Reconcile key accounts, including bank statements and general ledger balances
- Maintain and enhance internal accounting policies and controls
- Oversee management of EMC’s corporate vehicle fleet, including registrations and tax filings (IRP & IFTA)

Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience
- Strong organizational skills with a sharp eye for accuracy
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple deadlines and projects with composure

Physical Requirements:
This role may require occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs), walking, standing, and manual tasks. Good vision and ability to adjust focus are also essential.
